Troops kill 37 bandits, lose 6 soldiers in Zamfara

Troops of Operation Saharan Daji (OPSD), fighting bandits in Zamfara State have killed 37 bandits and arrested six in Zamfara State in a clearance operation.

A statement by the acting Force Information Officer, Major Clement Abiade, said the 37 bandits were killed during an operation to stamp out banditry in Zamfara and other contiguous states.

Abiade said during the raid, six suspected bandits’ informants, cattle rustlers, kidnappers, and logistics suppliers were arrested.
