No fewer than 16 vehicles were vandalised, while many people sustained serious injuries, on Thursday evening, during a violent clash between supporters of the All Progressives Congress and the African Democratic Congress in Ondo State.

Sources said the clash may not be unconnected with the forthcoming local government election in the state.

The clash between the political parties occured at Yaba in Ondo town.

The crisis, which is coming on the heels of the local government election in the state, might be a pointer to what should be expected in the October 10 governorship election, an eyewitness said.
