NSCDC vehicle set ablaze by gunmen

Two operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil  Defence Corps, NSCDC, have been shot dead by some gunmen while their patrol vehicle was set ablaze at Otuocha area of Anambra State on Saturday. 

Sources said the incident occurred at a checkpoint in Nkwo Nneyi Umuleri on Otuocha road before Aguleri junction in Anambra East Local Government Area along the Onitsha - Adani-Nsukka road. 

Details of the attack were scanty by press time but a video clip showing the lifeless bodies of the two deceased officers is now trending in the social media.

In the video, residents of the area were seen running from the scene for fear of being attacked by the gunmen who reportedly left the scene after causing the harm.
